THE DRY GARDEN ( KARESANSUI )
The Zen garden of the bhuddist temples, is dry, with only stones and pebbles, in japanese is called Karesansui. Nature is present as symbols: sands and rocks rapresent water and mountains (or islands), bringing to limits the minimalist concept of the Zen bhuddism. The placement of the stones follow a fixed scheme and
the care for this garden is more a ritual.
