GARDEN DESIGN STUDIO INFORMATION
I called This studio "ArtNatura" because my passion about art, nature and gardens. I studied for my degree at the University of Architecture in Venice in 2003 with Professor Mariapia Cunico of the ‘Art of Gardens’.
My degree thesis was ‘A Park for Mestre’. During the writing of the thesis
I compared contemporary themes and studied the parks of Barcelona. These
were an example of creativity and integration between nature and buildings.
After finishing the study I developed methods of advanced graphic representation;
Looking for the best visual result to present to people’s requests for
project ideas. This technique allows me an immediate visual representation of
the project, it is effective with a strong visual impact and the costs are low.
Then I consults with the landscaper, Ketty Pasqualato. The aim
is to introduce Feng-Shui into the art of the gardens. The ancient Chinese
art in oriental gardens gives me further elements to express the modern
need for communion with nature that living in cities has decreased.
The modern garden needs to incorporate different elements: from the knowledge
of diverse cultures to the dialogue with nature between shapes and sensibility.
This is achieved by studying the work of past masters e.g. Pietro Porcinai,
Carlo Scarpa, Roberto Burle Marx, Jeoffrei Jellicoe and Gertrude Jekyll
and the contemporary work of e.g. Gilles Clement and Manuel Ruisanchez.
There are many others too who have left a legacy of beautiful gardens.
I'm now collaborating with biologist Dr. Adriano Drago, who holds a degree
in Biologist Science, and landscaper Ketty Pasqualato, an expert in plants and gardens who help me to
choose the right plants for different region and climate.
I can therefore assure a quality service to individuals, corporations, architecture
studios and nurseries in Italy, across Europe and further.
N.B. WE use an encyclopedia of 15000 plants from all parts of
the world. Take the time to look at the encyclopedia's images.
